Start with a combat style you enjoy. Explore each class, then read its Codex chapter before deciding where to invest your stats.

Find your footing

Learn the interface before moving into harder hunting areas. A steady route is more useful than rushing into a zone you cannot comfortably clear.

Before leaving town

  • Locate your inventory, character stats, skills and map controls.
  • Equip usable items and check their class and stat requirements.
  • Keep recovery supplies and leave room for loot.

On your first hunt

  • Choose enemies you can defeat consistently.
  • Learn your main skills before changing several parts of your build.
  • If you use MU Helper, review its combat, recovery and loot settings.

Build your equipment

Read the whole tooltip before equipping, upgrading or trading an item. Class requirements and useful options matter alongside the item's rarity.

  1. Can you use it?Check the class, level and attribute requirements first.
  2. What does it improve?Compare the base stats, additional options and bonuses with your current equipment.
  3. What will the upgrade cost?Review the recipe, materials and displayed success chance before spending jewels.
